Viscenda was officially founded in Olten, Switzerland (4600) on October 11, 2025. While the official launch date is recent, the concept behind Viscenda has been developing for a considerable time.
The genesis of Viscenda lies in the passion of its founder, Jylien Vincent Freiburghaus, for books, film, and performance. With seven years in theater and multiple literary works in development, Jylien sought a major film role after finding motivation in the theater piece “1918.ch”.
The casting process for the film Jakobs Ross was a pivotal turning point. When the outcome suggested a struggle against entrenched interests, Jylien made a powerful decision: he would bypass the traditional system and eventually create his own platform. This core belief, the necessity of self-creation, was born then.
Shortly thereafter, Jylien faced a profound personal challenge: a
C-PTSD-related burnout that necessitated a complete break from
work. This period became a powerful catalyst for growth. After a
valuable year dedicated to personal well-being in a psychiatric day
clinic and subsequent work in social areas, Jylien was ready. He
reached out to close friends who enthusiastically embraced the
concept, and the project swiftly gained momentum, growing into
the Viscenda association.
The first project undertaken by Viscenda was “Echohaut”, a dramatic narrative focused on mental health. Echohaut explores various psychological issues through an authentic lens, specifically adopting the perspective of the troubled individuals involved. The project is designed to be compelling, realistic, and highly effective in raising public awareness. “Echohaut” is a multi episode series.
Originally Viscenda had 7 members.
The Founding Meeting was attended by five core participants: Jylien Vincent Freiburghaus, Adrian Wuffli, David Carvallho, Angela Freiburghaus, and Sarah Sophia Schmucki.
Two other invited members were expected to attend but were unable to join. One missed the meeting because they slept through, and the other was absent because they were sick.
Early life and acting
Jylien Vincent Freiburghaus was born in 2006 in a small Swiss city. He became interested in filmmaking in 2014 at the age of eight and began acting soon after. He acted for seven years, and in 2018 the theatre project 1918 helped turn his interest into a concrete reference he could use when applying to acting school.
Pivot to digital and filmmaking plans
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Jylien shifted strategy and began streaming on Twitch and publishing on YouTube. His plan was to build a community, produce short films that gained traction with that community, attract sponsors, and use sponsorship to finance more ambitious films—ultimately becoming a professional filmmaker.
Writing and franchise development
In 2021 he wrote his first book, a science‑fiction novel. While starting an apprenticeship that year, he sketched plans for a larger franchise: a series of 23 interconnected films intended to form a long-term creative manifesto. (donations will help to start and realize this project, i’m just saying 🙂 at this point in time, work on this franchise should begin in 2035)
Challenges and recovery
In 2022 Jylien streamed heavily until a depressive episode led him to delete his Twitch account. He narrowly missed a main role in the Swiss film Jakobs Ross, and mounting mental-health challenges prompted him to pause his pursuit of film for a time.
Return to creative work
In 2023 he moved into assisted living and launched a new Twitch streaming account and started focusing on video editing and montage work for YouTube. In 2024 he produced his first short real‑life film project—an alternate reality game (ARG). The ARG began as a ten‑second sequence in a compilation; the community identified it as an ARG within minutes, and the first puzzle was solved quickly. The project demonstrated what could be achieved with minimal resources. Later that year he entered a psychiatric daytime clinic.
Reintegration and founding Viscenda
In 2025 Jylien began an integration program to return to work, first as a merchant and then in graphic and web departments. During this period he embraced the idea of free will and decided to found Viscenda, where he serves as Founder, President / CEO, and Creative Director / CCO. This was also the Year, where the idea for the Series “Echohaut” was born, and Viscenda was about to make it become true.
